I’ve been in the business since 1984, with Asurea since 2001. I’ve seen a lot of systems and leads and ways of doing business. I had struggled a lot before coming to Asurea, and it was exciting and refreshing to just book appointments and go out and sell clients on the 1st meeting.
Early on, I was writing 10k/wk for up to 12 weeks at a time. It was amazing to get people protected with such a simple effective system. In 2006, I placed 256k of premium and didn’t feel overloaded. Since then, I’ve had my ups and downs, but when I stick to the basics, I can be consistent in helping a lot of people protect their loved ones while I make a good living along the way.
I’ve found that the grass is greener where you water it, and I’ve looked around a lot over the years. For me, Asurea is solid and a great place to work and build a solid successful career. I’m grateful to be a part of the team with Brian Pope and the rest of the Asurea family.

Although sales of any type are difficult, Asurea provides top-notch training from multiple veteran agents and they have training webinars every morning.
I felt like the people there wanted me to succeed, and the office culture is amazing. We feel like we have a purpose, and I'm proud to say I work here.
Compensation wise, if you have slow months, you will still make more than enough to get by. In better months, you'll make more money than 4 average people combined. It's tough, but once you get the hang of it, it's a great place to be at.
